#Premiere : Ekat Bork – Red Sektor [Video]

2016-05-13 10_52_52

“Ekat found love. She found music. She found an outlet for her anger, her passion, her uniqueness, her love of people, her desperation, her explosive sensuality. She found collaborators that understood her needs. She found audiences that needed her. She wrote and recorded one remarkable album, “Veremillious” and sucked up the knowledge to make an even better one, one that fully expressed her oblique outlook on the world, “yasДyes”.

It is not easy listening. It is not meant to be. It is coming soon. Her tour will follow.”

Check out this stirring video of the first Single ‘Red Sektor’ on her 2nd Album that will come out on October this year. Meanwhile listen to the previous album on Soundcloud and make sure to follow Ekat Bork !

Saint, a Gambian producer/artist based in Sweden, with a really good hip hop track taken from his new album “The New Funky Dread” featuring Miss Julia.  The song contains funk, jazz, soul and hip hop elements and is outstanding in any kind of way. Rihanna & Drake – Work (R3hab Remix)

Besides topping the worldwide charts and dropping a phenomenal album RiRi also has the best possible remix around, with all the state of the art ingredients, that make this tune a pure pleasure to play out loud. Actually Drake is kind of a downer on this one :(  Buuuut….

Still his verse can’t take away from the production and the chopped vocal hook more than makes up for anything and apart from all those twerk-rework-jerks he actually lets the tune breath for a minute. Big up to R3hab for setting up a killer dancefloor tune out of a killer anthem w/o losing the island vibes. Tropical 2.0 and beyond. “Maximum Respect” is, i guess, the proper Caribbean phrase to recognize superb achievements…

Play this one out loud and save your self the time debating if it’s good or not, cause i said so :)

Over And Over: Major Lazer – Blaze Up The Fire (feat. Chronixx)

Major Lazer – Blaze Up The Fire (feat. Chronixx)

i know this tune is 10 months old by now, but i catch myself listening to it over and over. I guess i subconsciously added it to so many playlists that i keep coming across it time and again. The tune is so close to perfection that i don’t mind at all. I haven’t found a single remix that comes close to the originals energy (and i don’t mean EDM) i mean good vibes and positive energy. So if u know any mix that might give it a different twist w/o losing any of the original flavour pls send it our way. Until then i guess i’mma blaze it till di mornin’ and keep on pumping this jam of jams!

What if I go? – Mura Masa

Right now, Mura Masa is pretty much reigning supremly as the worlds best beatmaker. Loads of others who could claim the title, but no one nails the zeitgeist as perfectly as this man. Lovely little tune, that proves he can come up with proper written songs, instead of just beats. The programming and the clean kept production is so on point!
