Never heard of this song, before Alan sent it through a couple of days ago. Epic Win. Disco feelgood, uplifting vibes and a whole lot more. Sample it, it add some drums, put a good Jigga vocal on top, an extra bassline, chop the sample some more, add some single keynotes by an old analogue and you have a monster on your hands. Great!

Now this one is a very personal post about some really good friends of mine which I’ve known for almost a decade and a half (yes, unfortunately I’m old enough to maintain friendships THAT long – lol, smiley face). Introducing: Susanne Blech!

If you’re happen to be German based and watch Circus HalliGalli on a regular basis, you may have seen them already jump out of Joko’s and Klaas’ closet last week or so. And since they are currently on tour you have the chance of seeing them perform live tonight in Munich!

Below you’ll find their current video for their song “Liebe neue deutsche Welle” which was partly shot in Rio as you can already tell by the gifs above.
They’ve been on tour for a couple of dates and all of them have been massive and sold out. I’ve been to the release show myself and the crowd just went straight mental. But don’t take my word for it and have a look at their Facebook page.

Don’t miss out on this one!! So with no further a due and with great pleasure it is, that I present to you: Susanne Blech!!
When it comes to Munich I am not patriotic AT ALL. Just because I am born here doesn’t mean that I have this special feeling for this city. I like it here, true, but its more about the people and the good old “comfort zone” where you can take a rest because everything is familiar and you know which role you have to play. But first, home is where your heart is (!) and second, the magic happens outside your comfort zone (!!)…
But then, sometimes, it happens that you go out with exactly those people that you are calling home and totally unexpected it ends up being a magical evening. The setting: A summer party at a friends café (of course without summer, thanks for that Munich) and a concert inside. If you would have seen this tiniest of places you would never thought it possible for 6 girls to play live in such a venue… But these girls did. The sound system was horrible, the crowd was too drunk to listen, but all this (and I am always critical) didnt matter at all. Because their band, called “the Veras”, just played music straight from their souls to our hearts. And I am absolutely positive that everyone went home with a good feeling like i did, and i never had the urge to be a music journalist and this is not a review of a band (we never do that on ChromeMusic), we simply call out what moves our hearts and souls… and after all, that’s what matters most. So here’s a warm round of welcome applause (digital) for the Veras.
They are just at the very beginning, so you can’t really find a lot on the internet. But they promised me to work on it and I hope we will hear a lot more. So spreading the music a little bit is the support from my side. Because hey, they are from my home town ;)
Excellent, just excellent music and a true masterpiece. Truly deep. The way Orchid Days combines today and tomorrow is very skilled. Truly inspirational, contemporary and visionary sounds for my headphones! Give it a try and listen to this entire lovely piece of work via Bandcamp stream! Ps. Somewhere along the way of listening to this album you’ll find the appreciation of yesterday. Favourite Track: The Stars We’re Made Of.
