Chromemusic presents Mayer Hawthorne – short recap w pics

It worked out fine just the way we figured. A nice show by one of the most promising new acts in a small cib to have a REAL live venue – you could literally pass your drinks to the band and to quote Mayer: “What a strange arrangement”, but the guys loved it, due to the sticky icky, the girls who took such wonderful care of them and of course the live, live audience that showed up on this holiday and amde it a night to remember. The thank-yous & praises were flooding facbook the day after. Here are some of the few pics that we have received and nice re-edit of “Maybe so, Maybe no” by our buddy King Most that skillfully incorporates Kanye West Vocals into the Mix. Damn you must be mad at me for not checking my mails and the many mp3s and msuic you have sent me. At the last count it was way over 150 unanswered new tracks i got sent, but i was reaaaal busy and will get to it as soon as i get a break. Anyway, YUM YUM affiliate and buddy passion sent me this remix/edit he did of Stromaes ginormous hit “Alors on Danse” ft Mr Santos, whom some of you will remember as Ju from the Massive Töne days. Nice mix of German/ French Vocals on one of the tunes of this fall and really good to see that Ju hasn’t lost his Mojo. Great YUM YUM version, thx @Passion. Have fun folks.

Top Friend Party tonight @ Erste Liga

Well tonight it is the ‘return of the Mack’, my friend Stevie Mac (Manchester UK) is back to play @ Top Friend Party alongside Raph who has been a Top Friend resident at YUM YUM for the past 1,5 years. These two are bound to steal the show even if they are relatively unknown. I know Steve Aoki is playing at the P1 opening and so forth, but this is the one you wanna go to partywise, crowdwise and location wise. Hit up Steve Aoki and then head over top T F Party for the real thrill.

Crookers this Friday pt II

Here is the 2nd part – Crookers this Friday @ Theaterfabrik with Birdy Nam Nam, alongside the acid kids and myself. Check out the discogs list of the Crookers to see what these two have produced in such a short amount of time. Truly outstanding.

Here are two classic tracks from these dudes – actually both are productions for or with other artists:

The first one is the second work they have done with US phenomena Kid Cudi called “Embrace The Martian (Feat. KiD CuDi)“. Their first work being “Day n Night (Crookers Rmx)”, which elevated both these artists to a different plateau and made them a household name throughout the dance scene globally and even managed to top the UK charts some 20 months ago.
