Klevers playing in Munich, gonna be mayhem anyways, at the Official Air & Style afterparty, and as if this wasnt enough he is teaming up with one of our main YUM YUM folks, Schowi, to deliver a one of a kind night on Sat Feb 12th. If you havent heard of Klever yet, on this side of the atlantic, well be in for a treat, the mans almost like one of our people, and as his & our buddy Hannibal so eloquently put it: “he blows my mind every time!”. Our man Creathief is the one who will bring him through, the other date in germany will be in Frankfurt on Feb 11th @Cocoon.

Klevers history is story best read by yourself, but it goes deep and he is another member of the infamous Allies crew, that also included A-trak & dj Craze, so you know where this will be going musically.

PS. this whole thing a part of a 3 stop tour de force party in munich, starting on SUN Ispo Party Feb 6th @ Location unknown, then THUR Feb 10th @Crux the official Air & Style warmup party, and finishing off with a grand finale on SAT feb 12th @ Ex Schrannenhalle with Klever & Schowi.

I. the first version was sent to me by one of our readers, and its quite a great one submitted by Alexis Maizel and heres what he wrote: “I enclose you a recent cover by a French folk band called ‘La maison Tellier’ of the classical ‘Killing in the Name Of” by RATM. I have no affiliation whatsoever with  this band (but for the citizenship), but really dig the track. It would blend quite nicely in one of your next “Sweet Serenade” mixtape. Listen and enjoy.”

III. Version No 3 comes from the Apples, its a pure funk, soul infused monster, that make the crowd scream the prominent hook in the breakdown. Great throwdown tune for any party.

How fun is this video, how cool is this song? I feel like jumping..

Another great unsigned act with better pop music than anything on the charts.”this house is falling apart”. no snobbish hipster rubbish, but pure fun and an overall positive vibe! check out Walk the Moon on Bandcamp and buy their material, i just did, these guys deserve it and it definitely worth it. only 9$ anyways (thats like 2 coffees anywhere in Europe). not trying to make you an itunes customer here (at all!!!) but independent, unsigned bands via bandcamp deserve it! there’s a huge difference between a multinational corporation and some music making geezers from Ohio with a homemade video!

Really thankful to amazing blog From Goa to Whoa for this find!! Check the rest of their entries and posts. They have a great taste in music and awesome selections. I’ll make sure to check them out every once in a while. Sorry for taking your content, but this tune is awesome! thx again!

the Cults

…are on tour in the States, and thats great, but please make sure to get them over here in the next month or so. I have been listening to their music for the last couple of months, and besides being an internet phenomena (they only have a 7″ out via bandcamp) everybody seems to know them, on this side of the ocean and i am not only talking music- nerds (dont even know too many of these anymore), i mean regular folks. the 3 songs i know are simply great and especially the 2 posted below should have you hooked in no time at all. @the cults make sure to tour europe SOON (and thats not only the uk!).  looking fwd to hear more from this promising band.
