The years and the phase of ChromeMusic and YUM YUM was left deserted and abondened by Chrome. No production. No Love. No One Around.
We had to break down the Matrix somewhere else.
Already a year old but ready to be released officially in central Europe. We are happy that this fine wine stood the test of time and a friend of ours surprised us by offering this brilliant tune by two of our favorite artists for our blog. We gladly support anything by Flume and Chet Faker since this deserves a proper release in our lands. Set date is next week so go and spread the word! ‘Drop the Game’ finally drops :)

Yeah, you can try to label this music with all kinds of fancy names. Bottom line: its neat pop music with a chill vibe to it and remixing Oh Wonder is a simple task, just bc the originals are beautiful beyond words, but there is always a danger in reworking such magnificent original material. Sacrificing brilliant material for the sake of a remix can blind the producer. This is not such a mix so tip of the hat to Delusion. All the ingredients are kept together and a careful arrangement does not disturb the serenity of this tune. We recently posted another even more outstanding tune by Oh Wonder which is even more gracious: “Dazzle“. Definitely our new favourite act. So all you A&Rs constantly scavenging our blog… we once again made your job easier. But please treat Oh Wonder with the respect they deserve !

When legends meet… Love the island feeling. Too bad you don’t find that in the Indies no more. In case you were wondering why i used the cat gif, to me it sounds like they are singing about their undying love for their cats… which only makes the tune cooler :) i guess i need to spend less time on the nets and stop my cat worshipping. Ps great roots riddem.

Finally a Birdy remix that doesn’t suck ! Skinny Love gets the respect, tranquility and the chords this awesome Bon Iver cover deserves, and i guess that’s why it has been released officially. Great remix, french guys. Tres bien. Grab your warm up charmer while it’s still hot…
