We are pleased to announce that the guest for May 7th is none other than Damon Baxter, aka original Fabric resident and party boy Deadly Avenger! Now releasing under the moniker Dorothy’s Fortress for his Destroy All Planets label, Damon will be kicking back with us and spinning some gems from his weird and wonderful box of vinyl.

So join us next Thursday for what promises to be a great night with Stevie Kinevil, Robzilla and of course guest of honour Mr Baxter… 9pm – 2am downstairs @ Walrus Bar FREE ENTRY!

on thursday: Topfriend Special in Munich

I’m fuckin in! On thursday we’ll have a little short term Topfriend Special at our favourite drinking spot – Cafe King. Everybody who joined us at our last Top Friend date at Cafe King knows that they have managed to install a decent dancefloor in the back with a new sound system and we are happy to offer you some off dates there every now and then. DJ duties are up to Schu who was hiding in the studio for the last months & your favourite neighbour NotFx. The next day will be a holiday + entry fee is only €4 so no need to argue! Join us on facebook.

new YUM YUM Munich coming up, this Friday May 1st

So the only YUM YUM Munich in May is coming up already next Friday. Now you know we have been packed the last couple of times and had to turn down several people but we hope you stick with us until we have found a decent alternative for a second date in the month.

This time the main room will be run by Max Mausser & Not:fx, since Chrome is on a trip to Asia again. The second floor will be holding a little urban africa focused special with my soundsystem companion Georg of Daladala Soundz and YUM YUM friend Roche Dadier.

YUM YUM Berlin – did damage – hope they have any pictures this time. Larry Tee was around and about everyone from Hamburg, incl former Vienna drinkmaster and VodkaBot Dsl.

YUM YUM Nrw – comic will be online by tonight, latest tomorrow. Eleven and Tand had a blast from what they are twittering, saying “best YUM YUM in months” – but they say that each and every time – how many more people do you wanna pack?

YUM YUM Manchester – Stevie in his own words: “Hi Filip, rob and I have started djing every Friday at the venue, this should boost the profile of the monthly parties. Venue packed out, amazing response, can’t give CDs away quick enough! About 10 people demanding my number email etc for more yum yum info. Unfortunately laptop took a fall (cost £250!) so doing the best I can with the phone this week, I’ll give you a shout later in the week for a chat.. “

Ps we ripped the flyer from a party we found online and effing loved it. its like sampling, ps2 thats what pirates do….

We have Djs extraordinaire : Eli Escobar & Dj Eleven as guest for our more or less forced spontaneous Top Friend Special at Cafe King.

You all remember Eleven when he and the rest of the RUB guys visited YUM YUM last year, and Dj Eli Escobar is no stranger to music lovers everywhere. The Ruba re ultimately the american counterpart to YUM YUM and Eli is the guy who does excellent remixes, edits for diplo, puts out releases on hollertronix, money lotion.

Eli Escobars blog – which is one of the favoured dj blogs worldwide and i really cant stress enough how good this guy is as a dj. Dj Elevens website – and his RUB Radio show on Brooklyn Radio.

For his stepvisit to Europe Joe came up with a special mixtape for us: Feel free to grab DJ Eleven’s European Vacation Mix via his website (direct link). Only for a limited time. Tracklist after the jump!
