Well, its been a while but here is the latest edition of our Comic Book of last Saturday’s YUM YUM. You can download it as well as a PDF for collecting, printing it out or whatever (11MB). We were told that the sound has been way too loud. We’ll watch that next time. Flo and my ears were still bleeding from the gigs on Friday so please bear with us. Photos from the YUM YUM exhibition in Munich, that started last Thursday night. Great little hangout, thx to everyone for participating and being there to help Melanie & Andy or for coming down. The exhibition is still at Amen (Müllerstr/ Cornelius str) until the 2nd of October (daily hours from 11-8). Melanie did a great job with the artwork and i was drunk before i got there so it smelled like a sitcom.Our new YUM YUM tees got introduced – T-shirts online by Wednesday.
Thursday was a long night that led directly into last Fridays YUM YUM, which surpringly enough turned out to be an alright night and a good party, and all that on the night before the Oktoberfest started. From what i heard from the guys coming down, about every other venue, club and bar in munich was deserted, because people were saving themselves for the big O-fest, like they do every year. The full comic will be online tomorrow or latest on Wednesday.
There is so much going on this week. First of we have the launch of our YUM YUM exhibition this week at Amen. Wanted to do it in that shop, thats way more like us and they are specialized in sneakers so.. nuff said. We are finalizing our YUM YUM tour in November. With the tour we are also gonna kick off YUM YUM in Berlin and Frankfurt, while around the same time we will make a move to Austria (3 spots) and me and Stevie Mac are working on some spots in the U.K. – But read it all for yourself, finely posted below according to topic.
This Friday YUM YUM is gonna be a blast with almost the entire crew in town for the exhibiton. Friday nights Dj duties will be up to Chrome & Schowi & Not:fx on the main floor, while area 2 will be run by Schu, Max & Norbert Schiegl. Even Tand will join us once he is done playing at some company venue rub-out. I know the big O-fest starts the day after that and that always makes it one of the darker nights of the year, cause everyone seems to be saving his or her drinking powers for Smutglory at big O. So make sure to tell your friend and bring everybody along, cause this one is massive. The entire crew(almost) has never played together at one spot and this is your one chance for the next 3 weeks to walk into a club without being blinded by the Lederhosen drunkies, from the Beerfest. Big Tins a Gwan
After having a gig in Munich and attending Friday’s YUM YUM with Chrome, Schowi & Not:fx (main floor) and Schu, Max & Norbert (running 2nd floor) me and Schu will head up north west and bring some colour to NRW’s dancefloor. Speaking about the latest edition of YUM YUM @ 100Meister. Doors will be open at 23 sharp. So make sure to show up early so we can start things right away.
