1st official YUM YUM – this Friday

-1(2).jpg Looking forward to our very first official YUM YUM night at Registratur, this Friday September 7th. We checked out the Soundsystem and the “feel” of the room at last months unannounced party- now that Registratur is redesigned. The new YUM YUM Mixtape and the old (missing mixtape) from last spring wil be handed out in our partnershops, starting Monday 24th and on Friday 21st at this Septembers 2nd YUM YUM. (That is YUM YUM Vol 5 & Vol 6). Meaning -yes.. we are finally bi-weekly again.

Ps Come back this Wednesday for our latest YUM YUM top tunes selection for September. Nuff said. We are looking forward to the nicest dance around..

YUM YUM DORTMUND OPENING SATURDAY 29TH @ BAKUDA

Just finished our comic review of last Saturday. You can grab it here.

On Saturday 29th we’re having our big premiere @ Bakuda in Dortmund. You can find directions via Google Maps. We handed out a mix cd for getting yourself a picture of our sound and tunes we’ll be playing. For all of you who didn’t get a copy we uploaded the whole mix (17 tracks!!) and you can load it via ZSHARE. Also you’ll find the cover here.

The SOLA PLEXUS release party last month was a biggie. In the beginning not our regular sound at all but people just went mental. See for yourself in this little footage of setting everything up and early hours of the evening. Some of you may have seen this but it’s worth a repost. So here we go.
September 15th we’ll have our very next YUM YUM aproaching. Also we’ll have a big premiere in NRW. Following everyone telling us that a month of waiting is a pretty long time we’re having our first YUM YUM at Bakuda in Dortmund on Saturday 29th. Speaking bout having another regular in NRW. More on that soon.
We’re really looking forward to this. So grab a friend and step by.

YUM YUM NRW this weekend (Friday & Saturday)

YUM YUM True Note Beachparty Here’s a little footage of last YUM YUM in NRW and the release of Sola Plexus new record. Too bad we have no prime time shots. Was pretty amusing.

Next weekend (31.08.) we’re back in WÃ¼rzburg’s das Boot and after that we’re heading towards north where we’re finally having our beachparty at Beachside in MÃ¼lheim (NRW) (01.09.). I’m really looking forward to this.

DJs will be Chrome and Tand Williams on Friday and Saturdays will be Tand Williams, Max Mausser, Deckstarr and Aaron Fire. Doors will be open at 23h on Friday and 17h on Saturday.

Comic book of last Friday – sneak preview YUM YUM

comic book of the YUM YUM sneak preview night last Friday

Before we really get started with YUM YUM on Friday september 7th, we had a little unannounced pre-opening night last Friday. We had a limited number of people who we were supposed to let in and here is a good one for the ladies, because dancing is a female trade… For all of you who enjoyed to be able to dance – it is gonna stay like this for now, before the Sekreteriat gets opened up again etc.. So you are gonna have more space to dance and the mainroom itself is bigger now with a wooden floor and a bigger bar so you don’t have to wait anymore. All details are still being worked out again. And i am learning to cope with the P.A. – Next Friday – September 7th is gonna be the official opening night which will be regularly promoted. And sorry for the inconvenience of waiting outside – the comic book will explain everything – how we had to build the djs table and so on.. actually quite amusing.
