Comic book of YUM YUM TeamUp on Friday September 21st.
The comic book has been delayed for a week, i was sick and in bed, had me a serious sinusitis. Dont look it up – it´s just a nasty flu with a lot of disgusto coming out everywhere. The night was alright but i was so sick that night i had to leave early + it was the night before the Oktoberfest started. You are not supposed to run too much that night – and i am saying this from experience. Seen it last year – was the weakest night of the entire year. But anyway as far as i can tell it was an alright dance and Max did a good job. Next up is Flo Keller. Ps — Comic book: Words & Photos by Melanie.
On Saturday 29th we’re having our big premiere @ Bakuda in Dortmund. You can find directions via Google Maps. Doors will be open by 23.
We handed out a mix cd for people to make a picture of our sound and the tunes we’ll be playing. For all of you who didn’t get a copy we uploaded the whole mix (a full 17 tunes) and you can downoad it via ZSHARE. Plus you’ll find the cover here.
Last weekend we produced some vinyl stancils and we’re about to hang them up tonight in Dortmund. Normally they are gone within minutes. So if you see any of them grab them. Hope you enjoy them hanging around as much as we do. Actually a reminder for YUM YUM in Dortmund.

Our very first YUM YUM TeamUp is coming around this Friday night, Sept 21st. Its obviously called YUM YUM TeamUp for we are gonna be inviting befriended crews and djs to these nights to play their sound next to ours and jam with us and not try to adopt our sound. Anyway – there are 2 new YUM YUM mixtapes coming your way: YUM YUM Vol 5 – the missing tape – that was due last spring and YUM YUM Vol 6 that is made for this fall and brandnew with tracks unplayed to the crowd before. Both these tapes will be available Monday September 24th and will be handed out at our party and in our associated shops. More infos next Monday. But before any of that happens i´ll see you this Friday Sept 21st @ Registratur where we are gonna be wilding out to these new tunes., more new music and plenty of premiering material. Like we announced earlier, our second monthly installment at Registratur will be a YUM YUM TeamUp where the YUM YUM sound teams up with other befriended crews and artists. Mixing up their styles and sounds with the YUM YUM set and sound. The first one is Rewind on September the 21st. Enjoy our lovely new Poster of my favourite flower. I am digging it so much i had to make an extra post.
It was a massive night and my very favourite night in some time (not only music wise). But everything was working out just fine, the crowd, the atmosphere, the soundsystem, the right amount of new tracks and YUM YUM classics. I was enjoying myself. This night was truly living up to the YUM YUM name. Thanks for the massive response to all the new YUM YUM tunes. And sorry for the inconvenience at the door, but we all saw that it definitely pays off with more space to dance and more room to breathe. Everybody was loving the atmosphere, with grins and smiles all over the place, and that is just how this whole thing is supposed to be. The dance started the moment the people walked in the door – meaning 11.15 pm and stopped when we turned the lights back on. Amazing!!! Seems like you missed YUM YUM too. So make sure to check back with us in 2 weeks on Friday September 21st, when we have our YUM YUM TeamUp with Rewind. (for more info YUM YUM is on the first Friday of the month, where we invite other djs to jam with us – not battle) is on the third Friday of each month. Lets see how it works out.
