Nice slow-motion reggae/dub goody by Wild Belle (siblings Natalie & Eliot Bergman) from Chicaco. Hope you enjoy the song and support them by ordering the 12″ Vinyl on bandcamp as it drops these days.

Paul Weller – Starlight (Drop Out Orchestra Remix)
The limited 12″ of the Paul Weller record was just released on Island Records.
You can grab it over here.
I used to play this jam, and still did up until 3 years ago, when we all made the serato transition, somehow one of these tunes that got lost in the conversion, but i picked up on it last time i played and another case of #file not found got solved, lol. Just a solid record with a Rick James break and hook with a short passgae from Slick Rick & Dougie Fresh: “We’re.. just some man thats on the mic….” The rest is history. Find the original sample source below. One of my favourite hiphop 12″ from the new school that had its rise somewhen in the late 90s. Enjoy this tune as you probably already have a million times. Never grows old and enjoy the YUM YUM warmup tune below!

not really the Beatnuts, more like A.L., Al’ Tariq, Black Attack, Cuban Link, Juju, Problemz

Just heard the original today, its a YUM YUM favourite anways, but i remembered that i had this 12″ and i would trade anything for a proper 320kbit. Just searched the webs for this tune. there wasn’t a single proper version but all i found was this lousy 128kbit mp3. Help me out here folks, but anyways enjoy this tune. Its a great remix of the original tune, not changing anything just Talib Kweli lacing some great rap vocals on top of an already great soul/dance anthem.
