Cee-Lo – “F**k You”

Cee-Lo‘s “F**k You” is still one of my favourite tracks in my current playlist.

Definitely one of the best tracks i heard in the last weeks (feels like months) and i most certainly enjoy this track everytime it comes up on my iPod.
But not only Cee-Lo´s original is great. I allready found a few very different versions of “Fuck You” you need to check out. (There are dozens out there, but these here stand out).

Now i am looking forward to their ep-release in october. After “The Swelly Express” including ” Truth” and ” The Opposite of Adults” and their Mixtape “Air Swelly” they will release an EP called “The Preview”

Kelis “Acapella” Rmx by Ming & Chiddy Bang

Absolutely necessary rmx of Acapella, the already huge Kelis anthem, which is again bigger in the uk than in germany, even though its more dancefloor oriented than most of these dance/hip hop crossover tunes these days, people somehow find it difficult to come to terms with this tune, even though Kelis gets full support from everyone in the music buisness – from djs to radio jocks – bloggers etc, simply cause all she put out so far was diverse and had class. This ones no different, the much appreciated remix by our buddies Chiddy Bang  and Ming (one half of Ming + FS) will surely be a door opener for this tune and for Kelis new album and style in general. @ all music bloggers – Use our picture its yours, you wont find a pic googling it.

Its like Chiddy says: “I’m what the kids were missing, like a dread beat!”

Well everyones been talking about their other (the real new) video “Sooner or later” but this one somehow slipped my radar. Both tracks have been featured on this website, last year already and this one in particular has benn a favourite with our YUM YUM crowds for some time now, but it takes nothing away from their “freshness”, quite the opposite . So Big up Xaphoon & Chiddy! Support them late august when the long awaited album drops. One of the few worth buying these days. Ps we are planning a full on german tour with them – with every YUM YUM city involved. Its gonna be good for the artistst themselves to play in real packed spots. More on that tour and their new album very soon..
