MISUN “Harlot” (Lakechild Remix) – FREE Download!

Last years most blogged band MISUN finally gets the honour it deserves with one of its most delicate but too often widely overlooked offerings to date, getting the remix treatment. The track brings together the bassline, that sweet guitar riff and Misuns amazing lead singer who has so much attention in her voice, that makes you “turn into ice”. And Lakechilds simple yet direct & flawless rework brings it all together on the floor as one huge punchy supernova. So here’s another favourite club tune for this summer and beyond! And Lakechild told me there’s another bigger & tougher & more electronic remix of “Harlot” coming your way in the next few weeks! Can’t wait! Grab the FREE DL!

Ante Perry feat. Cosmo Klein – One More Try (Original)

In the last 2 years a lot of talk has been going on about Deep House, while it actually had little to do with Deep House in its traditional sense. It was more like a new genre of beatmakers who had to come up with a genre name or a simply a tag for their tunes and Soundcloud uploads. And that’s why it’s even more fascinating to see an actual classy, soulful and really well produced Deep House tune go down on Soundcloud and staying unnoticed while all the remixers, who come up with the simplest of remixes of fancy pop stars make the rounds and have thousands and thousands of likes and comments.

Now this here is an actual ueber funky tune that deserves to get some spotlight. Ante Perry delivers a very delicate and tasteful key driven sound scape for the great vocals of Cosmo Klein to shine (no pun/rhyme intended). “One more try” will remind you of great tunes and days gone by, that is having a renaissance these days, if you happen to follow the young clublands. Perfect match for those warm summer nights and proper soul infused tune for the connoisseurs. This actually needs a vinyl release!

Kafka Tamura – No Hope (Winterkind Remix)

kafka tamura winterkind remix chromemusic

The Kafka Tamura identity is clearly as resonant on stage as it is on record, with Emma’s voice carefully weaving between sharp beats and raw electronics.

Well often all it takes is a remix to get noted in the digital world. I never heard of Kafka Tamura before, but i am sure to check them out now, since this remix delivers all the right emotional feels & state of the art production that i am looking for in music nowadays. The original song is a beautiful tune, but in the world of streams, notifications, nanoseconds ADD audiences i guess this ‘compressed’ remix is all it takes for me to a) want to know about a band and b) want to see them live. Right in the feels man (ooompph) and surely much appreciated here at ChromeMusic. Cop it via iTunes or follow the band via the links below… Ps i sure hope this is just a start.

So Much Win! Cajsa Siik – Higher (Lakechild Remix)

lakechild higher cajsa siik

This tune is gonna be huge! ChromeMusic has always been a fan of the original and Cajsa Siik’s music in general, but this rework that i have heard at 3 (!) different parties last weekend alone just kills it. Its catchy enough so that the mainstream can get on the bandwagon, and at the same time transports that summery good vibe feel that i am looking for in zeitgeisty music. Pure bliss and sonic remedy in the endless stream of new remixes, this one stands out bc it is a song by itself and that’s what i expect from a remix: To give it a different twist and feel, but still staying true to and respecting the original material. According to the amount this tune has been played in our office and on college radio already, we are gonna hear this one a lot this summer – and that’s a good thing!
