Canadian folk pop singer Jenn Grant was utterly new to me just a few days ago, until a friend of mine (had to be a girl) sent me this video. Think it really has some fun-filled uplifting swing and sound to it. Good music to forget these cold & short days. “Honeymoon Punch” is her 2nd album and i can only recommend it if you are into that type of sound. Here is the introductory track of her album, go check the lady and her superb 2nd album out. What a lovely voice and this has to be my favourite track of the entire album:

I. the first version was sent to me by one of our readers, and its quite a great one submitted by Alexis Maizel and heres what he wrote: “I enclose you a recent cover by a French folk band called ‘La maison Tellier’ of the classical ‘Killing in the Name Of” by RATM. III. Version No 3 comes from the Apples, its a pure funk, soul infused monster, that make the crowd scream the prominent hook in the breakdown. Great throwdown tune for any party.
