the Cults

…are on tour in the States, and thats great, but please make sure to get them over here in the next month or so. I have been listening to their music for the last couple of months, and besides being an internet phenomena (they only have a 7″ out via bandcamp) everybody seems to know them, on this side of the ocean and i am not only talking music- nerds (dont even know too many of these anymore), i mean regular folks. the 3 songs i know are simply great and especially the 2 posted below should have you hooked in no time at all. @the cults make sure to tour europe SOON (and thats not only the uk!).  looking fwd to hear more from this promising band.

Finally an album by chromemusic favourite Quest, the man has a flow like none other and the music provides the much lacking deepness in hip hop music these days. Seriously Zombie thumbs up and a definitive moustache for all hip hop addicts. this is one of these fine modern hip hop online mixtapes/ albums that grows on you, after a while. a few tunes are great for the YUM YUM crowd even, but all in all more of a headnod, headphone, hoodie hybrid. you know what i mean, see you on my ipod on the subway, in a car deck, at workplaces and let me help promote this album on this side of the ocean. your opinion?

D-Sisive “I Love A Girl”

This tune is by canadian rapper D-sisive (where have you been all these years?) and i like that he sampled Grizzly Bear, their over anthem “Two weeks” and its even cooler that he is jacking beats and actually calling it. Grizzly Bear hijacked is the only way you can call it, othe people would call it their production. I like that attitude, like the vibe, like his style and and rap tune not acting retarded. Thx, good track D-sisive! Keep em coming.
