Without having introduced Reece himself, and we will save that for Door#5 and a few other doors, bc the fella is amazing, here is a re-edit of Reece’s first official release. The two Beatsmiths Golo & Leo at it again. Another phenomenal yet simple groovy beat break rendering they are offering here. Officially released a few weeks earlier, it mostly was swept under the rug unnoticed, but i think if you are into the sounds of the modern day beatsmiths you can def hear what these two musicians/Djs are cooking. echoua.com. Ps Leo is one of our own – homegrown at the YUM YUM parties in cologne and around and i just wish i had more time to talk to Golo and get him more involved. Vulfpeck – Back Pocket (Cupidon Edit)

Cupidon did another magnifique edit of Vulpeck’s ‘Back Pocket’ from 2015. And yes – they just polished it up to bring it on the dancefloor. A bit more tempo and future beats but still keepin the soul in it. I like mucho :) Especially today when most releases only conform to any streaming corsetts and attest the overall cultural oatmeal I am bored to death by now. This one is different and an instant refresher to your senses. Shoyu and Golow, the handsome guys behind the Duo ‘Cupidon’, don’t just hack some beats into their laptops and you can feel by the intuitive flow of their tracks that these guys play actual music on their turntables for actual real people in real clubs on weekends. Like their very first official release ‘Be the One’ that climbed up Spotify USA’s & Canada’s Viral Chart as a total newcomer in 2017 this Edit is for the Kaytranada lovers out there. It reminds me of some sweet summer dj sessions I had with our mutual friend Marki and envision him banging his head while me shaking the hips. Add it to your warm up DJ Set or your ‘dancing in the kitchen’ playlist – it’s tested succesfully everyone will start dancing by this one ;)

Lovely, lovely disco stepper somewhere in between classic house chords, a soulful loft tune, golden sun rays late summer swimming pool disco vibes, and a singer that feels so much like the old days. Pretty much what we are looking for in a song these days. Hope she fares well! This track could be very stong in the EU first and the reflect back upon the states, but you always need the right guys ti handle it. Great effort Betty and best of luck to you with your debut album CHROME (love the title ;)!

Betty has dreamt up a new collection of songs ready for release in 2017. The first single from Betty Moon’s forthcoming album is “Sound”. The new collection from of songs from the Toronto-born and Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter sees Moon diving into influences from electronic music, dance, pop and future house. Moon will be releasing a series of singles from the album paired with music videos that take the viewer down the rabbit hole of her larger-than-life style, lyrics and sound.

Put together as a concept album, Moon spent the last year carefully crafting songs that capture the story of her new life in Hollywood after relocation from Toronto. Moon is known for her fearless approach to creativity and an ability to stay ahead of musical trends. Moon’s previous single “No Good” debuted in the Top 10 on College radio and she recently performed at the world famous Trouabadour and Roxy Theatre.
