YUM YUM in Austria – taking off in January

About that, we figured it would make more sense to start out in January with the new year and all.So Dj Bewares night in Vienna will be at Cafe Leopold – Museumsquartier, thinking about doing a second one in Graz. I’ll know soon enough. Januarys set for the Wax Wreckaz, who will be running things in Innsbruck at Blue Chip. Schowi knows the club and says its alive and kicking besides my man Jacob is running things there. About the 4th and final austrian city, Salzburg, i will be able to give more detail as soon as i have seen these new venues in action, possibly this Thursday. Will be in Vienna on Tuesday to Thursday so hit me up. !!Ps check out Bewares radio show on FM4 – FM4 Unlimited (from Monday to Friday from 2pm to 3pm with him, Functionist and international guests and guest mixes by international djs). Best tune of the new Tip Lp. I am no fan of that whole “featuring” thing. Sounds and feels like a solid Raphael Saadiq track. Who’s featuring who? But musically thats exactly the path Tip should be taking, he suits this track perfectly. A YUM YUM favourite for the early hours.

Yes its finally taking off in Berlin on Saturday Nov 29th as a steady party – where my people Schowi, Ben Mono & Palina will be running ish. They are also the djs for the night with the slight exception of me and the second floor being Berlins “Cany Club” by good buddy San Gabriel & lovely Miss Emily aka Lily Flip. Let’s see how well things will run in Berlin @ Scala. I reckon this to be one of the nicest places in the entire city and since Schowi and Ben Mono are taking part in it, who are both YUM YUM veterans, it couldn’t be in better hands. So here’s a tune that just fits that whole vibe:

What the hell is wrong with albania and the former yugoslavian republic of macedonia? Is just out of respect for the elderly that they are pro McCain?

Ps i am really tired of the whole media coverage. Mccains evil and Obamas a slick fella (and woo hoo he is the first black prez of the US. I was hoping for Michael Jordan by the way). And there is no doubt about it that he is gonna make it. We all- the entire “outside of the US/ the other 98% of the planet” – are hoping for it, but at the same time…

look what some friends found on flickr. a photo of an old YUM YUM sticker from someone who was travelling munich and came across this original and by now almost ancient sticker. she seemed to like it much. thx for so wonderfully appreciating our artwork. it is meant to be purely nice with no intentions to match the latest design trends. great find.
