Seeing the numbers over the last month there is no doubt about it… the kids want YUM YUM! And we sure give it to them. Our next YUM YUM @ the all famous 100Meister in Duisburg will take place on this Saturday, May 16th. DJ duties will be up to the dynamic duo of Max Mausser and myself (Tand Williams). It has been four months since we spun together and we can’t wait. So this one will be off limits. My advice would be to show up early but seeing you pouring in over the last months so early I guess I don’t have to tell you any longer.
Don’t forget to RSVP to our Facebook event and to join our Facebook group if you don’t already have. In case you wanna join the YUM YUM family as a volunteer we have a place for that as well.
And last but not least here is the long anticipated comic book of last YUM YUM in April. This one was crafted majorly by Tobias who also took most of the pictures in it. The delay is on me. So sorry bout that, thanks Tobias and you kids have fun with this issue. You can either watch the gallery or download the whole thing as an archive.
Enough talk. See you on Saturday!
[audio:http://www.chromemusic.de/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/hold-the-line-lehtmojoe-remix.mp3]ps: expect to hear this one loud on Saturday as well as all the other Top Tunes for May.
We took a longer break after DJ Passion span our last YUM YUM session at the end of November. YUM YUM has moved from Solyanka to Club Kult and from Thursday nights to Saturdays. We are very happy to play at Kult now, since it is a place with such a tradition and they have given us one of their most popular nights. Furthermore, there is no more cover fee for our YUM YUM party. So its recession yummy free!
Come join us for our re-opening of our monthly YUM YUM parties. We’ll start Saturday May 9th with our local resident DJs, followed by monthly sessions with international guest DJs as usual. Looking forward to see you.

Here we go folks, bean spillin’ time!
We are pleased to announce that the guest for May 7th is none other than Damon Baxter, aka original Fabric resident and party boy Deadly Avenger! Now releasing under the moniker Dorothy’s Fortress for his Destroy All Planets label, Damon will be kicking back with us and spinning some gems from his weird and wonderful box of vinyl.
So join us next Thursday for what promises to be a great night with Stevie Kinevil, Robzilla and of course guest of honour Mr Baxter… 9pm – 2am downstairs @ Walrus Bar FREE ENTRY!
Get down early to grab this month’s exclusive mix CD… limited numbers to give away and judging by how fast Volume 2 flew out they won’t be around for long, don’t miss out.
See ya down the front ;)
Sx
PS Don’t forget about the Yum Yum cocktails, only available @ Walrus on Yum Yum nights!

I’m fuckin in! On thursday we’ll have a little short term Topfriend Special at our favourite drinking spot – Cafe King. Everybody who joined us at our last Top Friend date at Cafe King knows that they have managed to install a decent dancefloor in the back with a new sound system and we are happy to offer you some off dates there every now and then. DJ duties are up to Schu who was hiding in the studio for the last months & your favourite neighbour NotFx. The next day will be a holiday + entry fee is only €4 so no need to argue! Join us on facebook.
Here is my favourite tune at present by UK’s De Tropix who belong to M.I.A. clout but you can tell that anyway. Check them on myspace.
btw the flyer features the great kenny powers, character from the hilarious show ‘Eastbound & Down’. Watch it online here.
btw2 Schu and me did a mix together back in november last year. Get it here
So the only YUM YUM Munich in May is coming up already next Friday. Now you know we have been packed the last couple of times and had to turn down several people but we hope you stick with us until we have found a decent alternative for a second date in the month.
This time the main room will be run by Max Mausser & Not:fx, since Chrome is on a trip to Asia again. The second floor will be holding a little urban africa focused special with my soundsystem companion Georg of Daladala Soundz and YUM YUM friend Roche Dadier.
Join the facebook event and give us a shout.
Expect the top tunes for may to be online by the end of the week.
Here’s a nice warm up tune for you:
