A Storm On A Summers Day by Full Crate,Gaidaa

Sounds like a chill breeze while sipping ice tea in front of your porch on a hot summers day while undocumented immigrants do your garden work. No, srsly it’s a solid production, super sweet for my ears, but also good for the hedonistic art heads that look for the deeper sense of being (beans) while soul searching in music, as in life (”target_audience_closing_in”). Kek, Heard it before and still like it. Props to the producers and songwriters

NEW Chrome Release : S A V A G E by Reece Lemonius

Where Reece’s last feature single “Beautiful” painted the innocent side of human connection, “Savage” highlights the more devious and immoral side of “love”. Very much about knowing a person not being the best for oneself, but still throwing caution to the wind. The track uses the trappish & post-maloneish kind of vibe to underpin these ambiguous feelings.

Tiny Dolphin – Try

We had the pleasure to introduce you to Alex Fisher’s work before.

Tiny Dolphin is the solo project of Alex Fisher, an American multi-instrumentalist indie folk and pop artist based in Austin, Texas.

Alex cites a diverse range of musical influences ranging from classical and contemporary pianists to American folk and British rock artists. He attributes his eclectic taste to his experiences living in Houston, Montreal, Munich and London. His first EP “The Sailor’s Wife”, which came out under his given name was well received by major indie blogs and playlisters.

With Tiny Dolphin, Alex hopes to create an indie rock project that draws from his varied musical influences and instigates collaboration with other artists. He wants to make people either dance or cry (ideally both at the same time).

Try is about someone I know, and how I perceived their life at the time. I spent a lot of time trying to imagine what it would be like to be in their state of mind, and I suppose that’s why I ultimately felt the urge to write about it.

With a production-style so rarely heard these days, it immediately reminds you of an early The Shins, Radiohead or The National.

Reece Lemonius – Comfortable EP

Happy Release-Day Reece Lemonius! We’re happy to release this four track strong EP and share some next level of great songwriting that shows you just how much Reece is bound to climb the ladder one step at a time.

Although playing around with unexpected movements and drops a lot, the lead-track still is made for you to “get comfortable”, sit back relax – but certainly your hips want more. I can easily see this being played in a club as well as the hotel-lobby. Listen to the EP, enjoy your Sunday morning coffee with the right twist!

PS: Shoutout to @Spotify, @SpotifyDE and Switzerland for adding comfortable to your #NMF playlists!

Temple Haze x narou – Please Believe Me

After Temple Haze & narou’s great debut on CHROME last year, the two strike back early 2019 with their ultra chill and harmony driven single “Please Believe Me”. Can’t imagine a more comforting track to start into the new year – I know it’s already end of January, but as we all know, January doesn’t count anyway.

When it comes to beautiful and eclectic music, it seems you can’t go wrong with this duo. Having been featured on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds’ before and the EP just being a stone’s throw away it’s time to jump on this train, since it surely won’t get any slower soon. PRE SAVE LINK on Spotify.
