YUM YUM Berlin this Saturday Feb 28th

Wow! Massive installment by Schowi for this month’s YUM YUM Berlin on Saturday 28th at Scala with two of the most promising acts out of switzerland right now. On the one hand my personal favourite and ghetto music expertise Wildlife who recently produced for Terry Lynn’s album and whose mixtapes are always ahead of their time. On the other hand there will be the Roundtable Knights who are well known for their crookers remix which is a sureshot on my playlist. The second floor will see a reminiscing 90s set by Candy Club DJs San Gabriel & Lily Flip featuring Lady Klick Klack as special guest.

Haven’t done a version in a minute. Here is mix of the Alkoholiks classic “Only when i’m drunk” and one of my favourite mid-tempo tunes of last year Siriusmos “All the Girls”. Fits nicely at 112bpm. You kow when you need to drop this on the floor. This was done with our next YUM YUM in Berlin in mind, Which is ging down on Sat. Feb 28th at my favourite spot Scala.

Scala Berlin pics #1 – !real pictures online tomorrow

Okay, so this is the first and very quickly roundup of pictures straight from Ben Monos iphone. The REAL gallery will be online tomorrow and i KNOW its a shame!!! Since we cant have our pictures online the next day –  always takes us ages – in 2008!!! I’ll start posting my own crappy pics. Anyways – the full roundup of what was going down @ Scala Berlin last saturday will be posted this week – all i can say was that i loved it – plenty of people turned up and Gabriel who was playing the 2nd area said it was the best thing he had seen happen @ Scala. And even my man Connie, running the spot was like “Whens the next one?”. Ps thx for the unlimited Jaeger supply. We will get there soundwise, but it was definitely a great party and a leap in the right direction and both Schowi and Ben Mono are Pros at what they do. More than exporting a party, YUM YUM is Berlins very own venue with their interpretation and sound. Strongest tune of the night i recall (was a couple ones) was Rob Threezy The Chase. I remember it had me on the floor acting up a fool.

All I Can Do Is Love You Tour & Mix

We’re growing and growing and you might have noticed that there is a little tour called the ‘All I Can Do Is Love You” tour, featuring three cities in Germany in cooperation with K-Swiss. After the massive birthday and tour kick-off in Munich last week, there are two tourdates left for this week: Frankfurt and Berlin.

In Frankfurt this Friday YUM YUM will go down at Walden together with our well known residents Schu, Schowi and Chrome, plus a friend from Frankfurt: Julian Smith from the Live Demo crew.

Continuing on Saturday YUM YUM will be at Berlin’s favourite spot – Scala with local residents Schowi and Ben Mono together with Chrome and on the second floor we will have a 90s R&B/Soul party with good friends San Gabriel & Lilly Flip a.k.a. Candy Club.

The whole tour was the motivation for a new mix, done by Tand Williams and Not:fx, which we handed out already at the last two nights and which is now available as free download or as a podcast.

YUM YUM Berlin is here – Sat Nov 29th @ Scala

Yes its finally taking off in Berlin on Saturday Nov 29th as a steady party – where my people Schowi, Ben Mono & Palina will be running ish. They are also the djs for the night with the slight exception of me and the second floor being Berlins “Cany Club” by good buddy San Gabriel & lovely Miss Emily aka Lily Flip. Let’s see how well things will run in Berlin @ Scala. I reckon this to be one of the nicest places in the entire city and since Schowi and Ben Mono are taking part in it, who are both YUM YUM veterans, it couldn’t be in better hands. So here’s a tune that just fits that whole vibe:
