Well its upon the hour for a new and massive YUM YUM this Friday May 18th in Munich and on Saturday May 19th in Nrw. Fridays musical choices & selections will be made by Chrome & Williams & introducing Max Mausser. The second area will be run by Ben Mono & Company, who is still promoting his new and versatile album. Enjoy the plenty new posts below – some funny, some arty and some about music. This is a bunch of 7″es that have been circulating around a lot for the last 6 months or so. The Dynamics is a band that specializes on covering great (and some not so great) tunes and turning them into some unique roots flavoured reggae tracks. Dig almost every releade they did. Here are a couple pf suggestions for your purchase: 1. their reggae interpretation of Madonnas “Music“ – 2. their rework of the Rolling Stones “Miss you” & Gwen Mcraes “90% of me is you“ – 3. their very first effort on Big Single – a cover version of the White Stripes “7 Nation Army” & Curtis´”Move on up” – nicely broken up and replayed in half time. – 4. My favourite is not the Dynamics but another band on the Big Single label called GrandMagneto and their cover/ interpretation of Soft Cells “Tainted Love”

I personally think there has been too much Amy Winehouse floating around lately and somehow i have heard her voice a bit too often and i sure cant listen to the album no more. But then there suddenly is a new collab with fellow brit Mark Ronson – on his solo release and all of a sudden the focus is back on. With their interpretation of “Valerie” they have made one of my favourite tracks this year so far. Enjoy and get the Mark Ronson album with the unstoppable track “Stop me” – linked to this before and probably will again. The Album “Version” has been out for a couple of weeks now, but it still doesnt get the attention it deserves. Support this guy and his groundbreaking record. Crossing the borders of the tristate Rock or Indie, Hip hop and sweet Soul music.
