This is some of the freshest graffiti I’ve seen in a while. Really very amusing work by a ten year old girl.
Wow! Massive installment by Schowi for this month’s YUM YUM Berlin on Saturday 28th at Scala with two of the most promising acts out of switzerland right now. On the one hand my personal favourite and ghetto music expertise Wildlife who recently produced for Terry Lynn’s album and whose mixtapes are always ahead of their time. On the other hand there will be the Roundtable Knights who are well known for their crookers remix which is a sureshot on my playlist. The second floor will see a reminiscing 90s set by Candy Club DJs San Gabriel & Lily Flip featuring Lady Klick Klack as special guest.
So don’t miss out on this one and join the facebook event for more details. Props to Schowi for setting this up.
Here’s an old quality remix by roundtable knights from back in 2007:

This friday will see the first installment of our new night in munich called sugoy, which is japanese for awesome. Now as we all know everybody can be cool but awesome takes practice and that is why we went on and got rid of all blinders to establish a proper party in munich’s most famous club P1. Everybody who is familiar with chromemusic.de knows what you can expect musically on friday. DJ duties will be up to me, not:fx, plus we will introduce you to our new friend called Ori Nero who by then will be returning from Tel Aviv where he played in one of the cities most renown clubs. Expect to hear more from him soon.
Join the facebook event, leave us a comment there and we will put you on the guestlist for friday. Plus you can grab a free mix on facebook by wednesday or be an early bird and grab one of the cds at the night.
My favourite song these days:
[audio:http://www.chromemusic.de/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/roxanne-_discotech-remix_.mp3]Things started slowly in Leicester on Saturday, but despite the cold people started to hit the club in earnest at 12.30. Once they were in however, Not:FX and Medley made sure they stayed on the floor. Even though it was the first time they’ve played together the music was right on point, and Not:FX definitely showed the new Yum Yum crowd what it’s all about.
It seemed that we had caused some arguments down at Superfly too… all the barstaff were fighting to work the bar in the main room after hearing the CD! Our man Tom in Leicester tells us the CDs were flying out of the bar the week before, and several boutiques are already itching for more.
So all in all a great start to Yum Yum in the UK, everyone is looking forward to the next party and new dates will be up soon, in the meantime check out the comic of the night
A big thanks goes out to Tom and Bryn @ Superfly for looking after us, Medley for sharing his booth, and of course Not:FX for making the trip to come rock our first night… the bar has been set ladies and gentlemen!
Duh! That was one hell of a night. We had to close the doors at almost 0.30 because the place was packed. Approx 650 people turned the club into a raving mad place (the club is designed for 500 people) and we had to turn down another 200 people from what I heard. The redesign of the stage turned out to be a good thing and people were able to actually dance and were not cramped like it was for the last 3 months. In the late hours it slipped out of our hands musically (way too electronic) but we were celebrating pretty hard plus Alex (DJ 5. Ton) had to get used to our sound so please bear with us. Besides I think he did a great Job and I’m pretty sure he’ll be around again soon enough.
The song of the night can only be : Only When I’m Drunk (YUM YUM)
Thanks again for making it mine this time and for the last three years!! See you next time on Mar 21st with DJ duties up to not:fx and myself. Take care.
PS: I’d like to send a special salute to Jerry who brought a cake with three candles on it. That’s right! So show him some love on MySpace for his Project Sola Plexus. Check out “Talk2Mii”.
PPS: A short flick will be online till the end of the week. Photos are MIA… if you took some hit me at tand@chromemusic.de.
1Live wanted me to do a mix for their show Moving. You’ll find the mix below. Basically it contains the first 7 minutes of the 3rd Anniversary Mixtape.
