YUM YUM Comic book of Friday November 2nd. Not much too say, but was a nice and enjoyable night but i would say that about anything after Wednesday nights “Award Tour” which i anticipated to be a night with a hiphop flavour but not a mid 90ies jam with no variety at all – Wednesday had nothing to do with YUM YUM. Hiphop is for kids these days and i simply refuse to live in the past. There is too much greatness out there.*********Anyhow don’t be fooled by me – Friday was a good night – it was a YUM YUM night and i was still mentally somewhat tangled up in my thoughts – thats why i couldnt enjoy it that much, but the crowd did, and i am so much looking forward to the next YUM YUM on October 16th, which is also our anniversary. Bday time with all our original cast Chrome, Roots Rockers, Schu & Jaws. Gonna be great. Dont forget to check out our monthly YUM YUM top tunes – ps – i redid No.1 (“Falling for You”) because it sounded …well bad when i played it, so i reupped it yesterday – before my damn net crashed – so all i am saying is: makesure to recheck it.
PS plenty more news coming tomorrow – my internet should be fixed by then – so i dont have to go netbummin..
Here is last Saturdays comic book. We had a blast. New versions went down like a storm and the crowd was really nice and it was a perfect vibe (as far as I can tell). Enjoy last Fridays comic book. A couple of things: Now i know how to work the soundsystem, and the upgrade on the laptop came in handy too. The sound was all YUM YUM again. The upcoming YUM YUM is gonna be great, seeing the return of Jaws – my long time companion who has been on tour for some time now. Hope you are enjoying the new mixtapes. Not much too say but it wasn´t as crowded as usual but the oktoberfest left all the clubs dry last Friday and from what i heard firsthand, we were again the most packed one out of all the other clubs. So the next YUM YUM teamUp is in 2 weeks. Friday Oct 19th and we will be running the sound without this whole beer madness around us. Really looking forward to the O-fest free time of the year. See you in 2 weeks.
(Ps more new posts tomorrow – i was to teh Feist show on Saturday and plenty other places during the daytime – so i am pretty much still screwed from the weekend – by the way time to post my Feist “1,2,3,4” YUM YUM remix i did).

The comic book has been delayed for a week, i was sick and in bed, had me a serious sinusitis. Dont look it up – it´s just a nasty flu with a lot of disgusto coming out everywhere. The night was alright but i was so sick that night i had to leave early + it was the night before the Oktoberfest started. You are not supposed to run too much that night – and i am saying this from experience. Seen it last year – was the weakest night of the entire year. On Saturday 29th we’re having our big premiere @ Bakuda in Dortmund. You can find directions via Google Maps. We handed out a mix cd for getting yourself a picture of our sound and tunes we’ll be playing. For all of you who didn’t get a copy we uploaded the whole mix (17 tracks!!) and you can load it via ZSHARE. Also you’ll find the cover here.

The SOLA PLEXUS release party last month was a biggie. In the beginning not our regular sound at all but people just went mental. See for yourself in this little footage of setting everything up and early hours of the evening. Some of you may have seen this but it’s worth a repost. So here we go.
September 15th we’ll have our very next YUM YUM aproaching. Also we’ll have a big premiere in NRW. Following everyone telling us that a month of waiting is a pretty long time we’re having our first YUM YUM at Bakuda in Dortmund on Saturday 29th. Speaking bout having another regular in NRW. More on that soon.
