All YUM YUM Mixtapes back online

All YUM YUM mixtapes are online, menu > music > mixtapes or check them out as podcasts.

We have calculted how many people have been introduced to the YUM YUM sound via online mixes, Cds and the external dowonload a la zshare. The number is freightening (our last upload on zshare alone had a mad 80.000 combined downloads – and that was on an external wordpress page). An incredible number when you consider that this was one of the many ways we offered them. running strong after such a long time. Great – the YUM YUM set and sound is changing as is everything, to stay ahead of teh game while maintaing the same attitude – and that has always been niceness…

so enjoy the mixes – past and present – enjoy a cool beer and kick back peoples…

YUM YUM Karlsruhe

Already for the fourth time YUM YUM took place in Karlsruhe´s neat club “Die Stadtmitte” last friday.
As always the crowd was great and friendly, people were really enjoying all our YUM YUM sounds and kept on singing till the early morning. Our new Mixtape which we handed out was gone in no time and it seems like the people in Karlsruhe are really thankful for having proper club music without any boundries in their town. We are definetly looking foward to establish YumYum in Karlsruhe allthough there is plenty of work left to do. To get an imression how YUM YUM goes down in Karlsruhe go visit “Die Stadtmitte” every first friday a month. After Max Mausser and NotFx Duisburgs own Tand Williams will be next to play there.

Santogold Live & Aftershow Party on November 29th in Munich

After our TopFriend Santogoldshow in Berlin last July, the lady is finally coming to Munich to play at the on3radio-Festival where she is playing alongside Buraka Som Sistema, our buddy Cajus, my favourites Port O’Brien, good YUM YUM buddies Schlachthofbronx and many others… After the party there’s an afterparty… and after that the hotel lobby. No but seriously, the Aftershow party is gonna be Santi and Dj/Boyfriend/Snowboard Pro Trouble Andrew and its all gonna take place at erste Liga in Munich. Buddy and erste Liga Boss Marc called me to have it all up on this site, thats why we are definitely presenting it with out TopFriend Moniker & Brand. It all will take place on Saturday November 29th. Too bad i wont be there to make it, since we are having our first and official YUM YUM in Berlin @ Scala. And another ‘too bad’ is that we are having a Top Friend Party @ Cafe King the very same day, but that won’t keep people from rotating from one place to the other, since its all within walking disctance. So cheer up peeps there is plenty of good stuff going down that day, in comparison to other nights – most preferably last weekend, where i had finally off and NADA was going down. So if you wanna know about the biggest name in music in 2008 – go watch Santogold live, come to the Afterparty with Trouble Andrew and check out the Top Friend Phenomena. ARTSCHOOLVETS tees are allready floating around in munich, so they mentioned us here in this blog entry, besides they are the ones fair trading our tees in Berlin. So i do hope to see them when Schowi, Ben & me kick it off in Berlin Saturday nov 29th. THX for the blog Love Vets, right back at you. No better way to show appreciation but with some good music. Like Krs1 said in ’88 “…but how many veterans are out there paddeling?”. The ArtschoolVets got their s%&$ together and are more likely to tame the winds of the ocean.
