last Friday – all right, even though the weather was moody, that didn’t stop us from spreading a nice atmoshere inside. . Another rather large one, even though the Soundsystem was playing games with us. We will have that fixed by next time. Which, speaking of, will be the 2nd of June. And the Djays will be Chrome & Schu. This time Tand from YUM YUM Nrw gave his debut – and did a pretty good job. The Mixcd’s got handed out and from what i hear there are still some left in the shops. (the 3 shops that are passing out our new Mixcds for us). It’s packed with absolute YUM YUM exclusives and introuveables – plus the cds look cute .This is what they look like . Still looking strong is our YUM YUM top selection for May. There is a new one on its way and its coming pretty fast. Last Fridays YUM YUM . Well not too much i can say about it cause i simply wasnât there, but i am convinced and from what i heard the djâs: Jay Scarlett and Schu, who came in last minute as my substitute, did a great job and were totally living up to the spirit of YUM YUM . Well thanks to both of them – they are both part of the family. Nonetheless iâll be back on track latest at the next one on May 19th with this selection. First off: Thanks for all the Birthday presents & all of you for coming by. Even though i never mentioned it you all came by, which made it all way sweeter, cause there is nothing more wrong than pretending to celebrate while playing. But you all really ennoyed it. A serious proof of how universal the YUM YUM Sound truly is. So, the first sun rays of the year came out just in time for another great YUM YUM . Because last Friday was off the hook, everything was working smoothly – as far as I could tell, but I really couldn’t because I was completely wasted and far off in La-LA-Land . So to be honest I don’t really remember how the music or any other thing was, but I guess it wasn’t too bad or it wouldn’t have been still packed at 6.30 in the morning . Enough of the bla and simply thanks for making it mine and thanks for supporting the ever growing YUM YUM Sound . PS Don’t know if you’ve seen it but our YUM YUM Vinyl was flooding the streets last week and some happy pedestrians got to take some of our artwork home . Here’s a gallery. |

This Friday YUM YUM is coming to town, meaning Munich and NRWs Duisburg, Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th its on. We welcome our guests Marek (LB) and resident up north Tand. Really looking forward to playing a nice set with plenty of new tunes. Superb night with a superb backing by an elegant old school deejay. Back and forth was an easy thing to do like this. Area two was flawless contrast music by Munichs own Trachtenvogl – one of the most popular places and a bar that stand for the lightness of living, which at times can be unbearable but not tonight. Their musical policy is similar to ours, just not self designed. Plus we just started redesigning the website – it might take some time, cause cash rules everything around me. we’ll be back on track soon enough. |
