A new YUM YUM is coming it’s way… speaking about next Saturday Dec 20th at 100Meister with DJ duties up to Tand and Max. So this time it’s back to the original team. We’re going to take off right where we left last time so you know what to expect. All new material from our top tunes and of course your beloved classic material. Join us for the last time in 2008. Dr. Sheldon Cooper – for the win!
As I promised earlier… here is my approach on Nina Simone incorporating some classic Busta Rhymes material. Made this one three years ago with a good friend of mine who did the mayor job in Logic. Not quite up to date anymore but worth a post… reminds me on how everything started out and where we got till then.

With Dj duties and pleasures up to Chrome & Max, this is gonna be full “hnads up in the air” night with the lastest YUM YUM Top Tunes and way more material than you know. YOU have been there last month so you know the deal. While area 2 will another Top Friend floor, which we thinka bout renaming – but anyway if you have been to either the Top Friend Party last Saturday or the Santogold show – you know whats going down here. Gonna be a huge night with the YUM YUM set and sound. Nuff said
Okay, so this is the first and very quickly roundup of pictures straight from Ben Monos iphone. The REAL gallery will be online tomorrow and i KNOW its a shame!!! Since we cant have our pictures online the next day – always takes us ages – in 2008!!! I’ll start posting my own crappy pics. Anyways – the full roundup of what was going down @ Scala Berlin last saturday will be posted this week – all i can say was that i loved it – plenty of people turned up and Gabriel who was playing the 2nd area said it was the best thing he had seen happen @ Scala. And even my man Connie, running the spot was like “Whens the next one?”. Ps thx for the unlimited Jaeger supply. We will get there soundwise, but it was definitely a great party and a leap in the right direction and both Schowi and Ben Mono are Pros at what they do. More than exporting a party, YUM YUM is Berlins very own venue with their interpretation and sound. Strongest tune of the night i recall (was a couple ones) was Rob Threezy The Chase. I remember it had me on the floor acting up a fool.

Dj Passion of Bass.Ill.Euro playing at YUM YUM Moscow this Thursday, Dec 4th. If you are around drop by for a nice little round of YUM YUM before thsi years over. Even met up with Passion yesterday after he had the strict Russian Visa regulations out of the way. Here is the Facebook Moscow teaser text: “For the last time this year we are throwing our YUM YUM session at Solyanka. The next one is only in February (January would be the 1st of January and thats a no-go), so come and party with us this Thursday. We had invited DJ Beware from Vienna/ HK but due to visa problems we’ll have to move that gig into the next year. Nevertheless we organized a special international treat for you. We invited DJ Passion from the Bass Ill Euro crew to play for you. Passion is playing across Europe and has his residency there. He is playing a nice mash-up mix of hip-hop, baile-funk, baltimore and electro.

This Friday YUM YUM goes down in Karlsruhe again. It will be Tand Williams first time at
“Die Stadtmitte” and the people over there can expect some pure and soulful YUM YUM sound this time. The last months were kind of difficult due to a none proper organisation at Die Stadtmitte, but new people are in order now and it seems like things are finally starting to move in the right direction.
Hope you´ve seen some posters and flyers in your town…
But none of the less we always had a good party when we played in Karlsruhe and that´s what will happen this Friday again. So dont miss Tand Williams playin at “Die Stadtmitte” Karlsruhe this Friday
