New November YUM YUM is coming up on Nov 17th at 100Meister in Duisburg.
It’s Not:fx’s second time around and after last times massive dance I’m really looking forward to this one.

Well seems like a packed week with the MTV Awards in munich and an approaching holiday on Thursday.
First we’ll kick it off with our nice one-off party entitled “Award Tour” on Wednesday night, october 31st, at the Registratur which is a team-up of Live DEMO/ YUM YUM and has Chrome/ San Gabriel/ Mirko Machine/ Kurtis Blow live & the Beathovenz playing that night and even many more (but that is supposed to be a surprise). And i am not allowed to drop the Special Guests. Well anyhow… it’s the MTV week and everyone’s going apeshit over this. Let us make it a great party first and we’ll see from there. Well everyone got their heads so high in the sky – somebody has got to do the groundwork. And you you know who that is gonna be. After that “YOU ARE DISMISSED”…

…until Friday night, November 2nd when we have our very first YUM YUM in November @ Registratur, which will see the return of founding member Jaws, who was tourig Europe up and down for the past months with his band, the Poets of Rhythm.
So the Dj duties are up to Chrome & Jaws and on Friday you will have a new Top Tune selection posted on this very site, while at night we will be handing out the new YUM YUM Mixtapes Vol. 6 & 5.
And an extra surprise is gonna be included in this weeks YUM YUM Newsletter – think music. So stay tuned and catch you on either one of these nights or maybe even on both. Heavy week with 2 neat & nice nights coming up.
Seems like everybodys going up the walls and halfway crazy for the Mtv Awards coming down to our litte village. Do not forget: These are the very same people who keep on talking about underground and other bizarre artifacts of the 90ies. Well in case you were wondering what we were up to the night before the EMAs. Hands down, we are throwing a party, next Wednesday @ Registratur. The quick fill-in: Its a joint venture of YUM YUM, Live DEMO, couple of Artists, a Music Label and Nike. Nike? Yes them, my feet like their shoes and my basketball-playing hips dig their shorts.
It’s gonna be called “AWARD TOUR reminiscent of that old ATCQ tune, also implying what the music will be. The roster is gonna be the following: San Gabriel (from Live DEMO), the Beathoaevenz, Kurtis Blow live, Mirko Machine on the turntables and Chrome (thats me). More than enough for one night but hey, there are even more people supposed too be playing and performing (and i mean global A-list kinda guys) but i am not supposed to give it away – or put them on a Flyer. And thats why the Flyer looks like this- I’d say lovely but that’s up to you to say.
And with that said here one of my favourite tunes at present: Amy Wino – Valerie (Baby J Remix) – She’s like the Sid Vicious of the Pop World. Great tune and we are pumping it primetime at YUM YUM and surely @ the Award Tour. So catch you next Wednesday – with Thursdays being a holiday so like Hannibal from the A-Team: “I love it when a plan comes into play”.
Here is last Saturdays comic book. We had a blast. New versions went down like a storm and the crowd was really nice and it was a perfect vibe (as far as I can tell). Enjoy last Fridays comic book. A couple of things: Now i know how to work the soundsystem, and the upgrade on the laptop came in handy too. The sound was all YUM YUM again. The upcoming YUM YUM is gonna be great, seeing the return of Jaws – my long time companion who has been on tour for some time now. Hope you are enjoying the new mixtapes.
