Yes, a new YUM YUM coming your way. This friday night the deejaying duties will be left to Chrome & Flo keller. With our new January top tune selection and a lot more new versions coming your way this week. The Chuck Berry/ Nas Remix is taking longer than expected but will be finished this week. The previously posted mix had a nice mixdown to it but arrangement wise way too many flaws. Another new Erykah Badu piece is close to completion which incorporates 2 classic samples that take her voice all the way back to the mellow soulful days of early 80ies funk. The same goes for a Jay-Z track entitled American Gangster which we reproduced and sent on a powerful backing track, for it really to catch the impact of the movie (This one is really a winner and my favourite track in over 1 year). Count on these three new tracks somewhen by the end of the week and check out some YUM YUM Soul tunes which are currently in our crates.

it was interesting to see how some few people were in the middle of dancing and then simply walked off to have a smoke. bizarre is the word. makes you think as a dj that you are not apreciating what i play, when the very same guys walked back in 5 minutes later and completly going nuttah for the music. tobacco works.
but still i think a lot of people apreciated the better air – including smokers – and besides, if you really want to smoke a cigarette, who is there to stop you? nobody is gonna throw you ou of our club for doing so. we are just gonna ask you politely – because thats what we are supposed to do. Ps.we even have this smokers new lounge if you wann be all legal.
but come on – dont make cigarettes such a big issue – this is all still about music and fun. having said that i hope some things are clearer now.okay so much about cigarettes.

it was a good feeling working the floor and the turntables with my old buddies and dj partners schu and jaws. i think i speak for everybody when i say i totally loved it when people appreciated the new styles we dropped and played, we are simply trying to make the YUM YUM sound bigger and brighter – while including more styles when possible. we totally loved it how you accepted a lot of these new offerings. thanks a lot and thanks for making it mine.
Happy new year everyone. Sorry for not posting lately. I’ve been in Hamburg over NYE. Actually i am still here recovering and really chilling. I had to have some time to regroup myself. Just wanted to announce that this Friday we are having our very first YUM YUM in 2008. The DJ lineup will be Chrome, Jaws & Schu. All the original cast. The Registratur repaired their f***** up heating from what i hear so – no more people freezing to death.
We do not have our monthly YUM YUM top tune selection for January done yet, but at least below you will find the year-end selections of some of our Djs. !!!**** and Ps a great new tune by Dan who did one fine version of “Hate on me” – which is this year very first posted YUM YUM version. Big ups to Dan and expect to see it in this months top tune selection. The promised christmas present will be online by Monday January 7th. Takes some serious time putting that thing together, whoops – almost let it slip.. And also a couple ones are gonna be handed out this Friday. hint: you can read it.

this Friday, december 21st, is our very last YUM YUM night for the year and we are trying to make it a special one, as we are reuniting with our people la boutique before the holidays.
be prepared to check back to our website time and again to get all the christmas goodies that we are gonna post – starting next sunday, december 23rd. from tracks to mixtapes, to online movies and some nice giveaways. ps – we are gonna do a big rundown on this years favourite tunes by all our djs.
